The All Star event culminated chapter one. Now, entering the next phase, there are only three opportunities on the schedule to prepare for the next marquee event, the 2-day Bob Weikert Memorial at the end of May. The Saturday/Sunday show will pay $10,000 and $29,000 to win respectively and will once again include the All Star series. We were pretty good early and were running fourth or fifth. I started searching on the track and we got rolling around the middle to the top of turns one and two. I could float around the outside of people. As the race wore on our car changed a little and the track changed. We were in contention to catch Hunter (Schurenberg) and I felt we were pretty equal. We got to him in traffic, but never could do much with him. At the end the track cleaned off and he was running up in turns three and four. The track changed enough where it favored where he was running. It was one of those deals where I was still trying to win the race on the last lap. Tyler Courtney saw what was going on and nipped me at the line for second. I could have easily won the race as run third. I'm pretty happy with our direction."</div><div><br /></div><div>The result was the second podium of the season for Wilson during All Star competition - his most with the series since 2019.</div><div><br /></div><div>The weekend wrapped up on Saturday at Sharon Speedway, where Wilson placed third in his heat race and 14th in the feature.</div><div><br /></div><div>"Early in the night you had to really run the wall aggressively and I wasn't really comfortable," he said. We didn't get the result we wanted, but I feel like as a whole for the caliber of cars we raced with it was a good weekend for us."</div><div><br /></div><div>Wilson plans on racing this Friday and Saturday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, during the #LetsRaceTwo event with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.</div><div><br /></div><div>QUICK RESULTS -</div><div><br /></div><div>April 29 - Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa. - Qualifying: 30; Heat race: 1 (3); Dash: 5 (7); Feature: 3 (5).</div><div><br /></div><div>April 30 - Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio - Qualifying: 27; Heat race: 3 (2); Feature: 14 (15).</div><div><br /></div><div>SEASON STATS -</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>13 races, 1 win, 4 top fives, 6 top 10s, 8 top 15s, 10 top 20s</div><div><br /></div><div>UP NEXT -</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Friday and Saturday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, for #LetsRaceTwo with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series</div><div><br /></div><div>UPCOMING HERCULES TIRES DEALERSHIP VISITS -</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>TBD</div><div><br /></div><div>MEDIA LINKS -</div><div><br /></div><div>Website: http://www.GregWilsonRacing.com</div><div><br /></div><div>Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/GregWilsonw20</div><div><br /></div><div>Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GregWilsonRacing</div><div><br /></div><div>SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT - Banshee Graphics</div><div><br /></div><div>Banshee Graphics is a custom graphics company based in Findlay, Ohio. "It took a long time, 10 years and a few months. I'm so excited with the speed that we have. We've been extremely consistent. We don't have as many wins at this point as we did last year, but we have the consistency. That's every bit as important as being able to win races. The next big milestone is 75 and then 100 wins. I think we're on track to be there a lot faster than how long it took to get to 50 wins."</div><div><br /></div><div>Scelzi opened Friday by qualifying eighth quickest. He then won a heat race from the outside of the front row before capturing both the dash and feature from the pole position.</div><div><br /></div><div>"We started on the outside and got a good start as we led every lap of the heat race," he said. "We led the dash throughout to get the pole for the feature. It was about as treacherous as I've seen a curb. We had a good pace early. As the curb got bigger we moved down the track. We had a restart and Corey Day was on the inside of me. He slid me into turn one. Then he slid himself into turn three and I ran the bottom to get back by him. From that point on we went unchallenged to get the win. That's back-to-back Brownell/Herseth Classic wins, which is really neat."</div><div><br /></div><div>The team returned to the oval on Saturday for the second KWS/NARC event of the season. Scelzi timed in 14th quickest. A heat race win locked him into the 10th starting position in the A Main.</div><div><br /></div><div>"With qualifying in the grease it made it tough," he said. "We did what we needed to do in the heat to win. We missed the dash and started 10 th in the feature, but I wasn't crazy worried because last year at that race we went from 15th to the lead and lost it on a green-white-checkered finish. On Saturday I had a terrible first start. The outside row biked up against the cushion and I had to check up. That cost me a few spots. I didn't get back to 10th until six or seven laps in. As the race went on we made our way forward. We ran second down from a straightaway and got to him, but just couldn't get by him. On nights we don't win we want to get the best possible finish, which is critical to defend our series championship. We did that on Saturday."</div><div><br /></div><div>The third-place run gives Scelzi a four-point lead in the championship standings.</div><div><br /></div><div>Scelzi plans to take this weekend off before returning to action May 13 at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., and May 14 at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, Calif., during the Peter Murphy Classic with the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Series and Sprint Car Challenge Tour.</div><div><br /></div><div>QUICK RESULTS -</div><div><br /></div><div>April 29 - Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. - Qualifying: 8; Heat race: 1 (2); Dash: 1 (1); Feature: 1 (1).</div><div><br /></div><div>April 30 - Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. - Qualifying: 14; Heat race: 1 (1); Feature: 3 (10).</div><div><br /></div><div>SEASON STATS -</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>15 races, 1 win, 7 top fives, 9 top 10s, 12 top 15s, 12 top 20s</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>UP NEXT -</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>May 13 at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., and May 14 at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, Calif., for the Peter Murphy Classic with the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Series and Sprint Car Challenge Tour</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>MEDIA LINKS -</div><div><br /></div><div>Website: http://www.GaryScelziMotorsports.com</div><div><br /></div><div>Twitter: https://twitter.com/DominicScelzi41</div><div><br /></div><div>Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Scelzi41</div><div><br /></div><div>SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT - Fuel Delivery Services, Inc.</div><div><br /></div><div>Based in Stockton, Calif., Fuel Delivery Services, Inc., is a premier bulk transporter of refined petroleum products. He's been working with me to learn what I like in the car. Our communication has really stepped up. To be in the Winner's Circle was huge. I had a bunch of family and friends and fans out there so that was special as well. Plus, it was really humbling being the only girl in the field and to come out on top."</div><div><br /></div><div>The weekend wrapped up on Saturday at Creek County Speedway, where Phillips placed third in both her heat race and the A Main.</div><div><br /></div><div>"I didn't get a great pill draw and the track was super heavy from all the rain so we finished third in the heat race," she said. "There was a lot of tough competition. Before the feature I told my guys, 'Let's try to make it through this race and keep our nose clean. Let's shoot for a top five and try to come out clean since we have a big week coming up.'</div><div><br /></div><div>"We fell back a little on the start. Once I figured out a good line to run I was able to pick off a couple of cars. There were a couple of wrecks I was able to avoid. Surviving the night was one of the biggest things with the wrecks and tangle-ups. There was a huge pack of traffic that we were able to make it through cleanly. With about 10 laps to go we were sitting fifth or sixth and then there was a caution. After we restarted we missed a wreck that put us up to fourth. We got to third and had a couple more cautions before we finished with a green-white-checkered restart. We were right there with those guys in front so that meant a lot to back up our win on Friday with a podium on Saturday."</div><div><br /></div><div>Next up for Phillips is an AmeriFlex OCRS IMCA Sprint Cars event on Saturday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., before she makes her debut at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D., on Sunday.</div><div><br /></div><div>QUICK RESULTS -</div><div><br /></div><div>April 29 - The New Tulsa Speedway in Tulsa, Okla. - Heat race: 1 (2); Feature: 1 (1).</div><div><br /></div><div>April 30 - Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. - Heat race: 3 (3); Feature: 3 (10).</div><div><br /></div><div>SEASON STATS -</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>9 races, 1 win, 2 top fives, 3 top 10s, 6 top 15s, 8 top 20s</div><div><br /></div><div>UP NEXT -</div><div><br /></div><div>Saturday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., with the AmeriFlex OCRS IMCA Sprint Cars and Sunday at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, S.D.</div><div><br /></div><div>MEDIA LINKS -</div><div><br /></div><div>Website: https://elizabethphillipsracing.company.site/</div><div><br /></div><div>Twitter: https://twitter.com/racing_08e</div><div><br /></div><div>Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Elizabeth-Phillips-Racing-1724391797775015/</div><div><br /></div><div>Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elizabeth.phillips08e/</div><div><br /></div><div>SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT - Maxima USA</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Southern California, Maxima is recognized as one of the most coveted brands in the racing industry. He advanced from fourth to third place in a heat race and lined up on the outside of the third row in the A Main.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>"We tried a little different setup," he said. "In the heat race I was battling being too free. I wasn't too happy with the car, but sometimes you'll get that trying new stuff. I definitely didn't have anything for the top two, but I was pleased with a third-place finish."</div><div><br /></div><div>The third-place outing was Johnson's best run of the season. He also tied a career-best 410 result with a 19th-place showing.</div><div><br /></div><div>"Our main goal was to make the A Main in the 410," he said. "I don't have many laps in a 410 and it was our first time at Knoxville in it. It went pretty well. I drew the No. 75 for the 360 and the No. 2 for the 410. Instead of going out real early in qualifying and being in a rush I told them I'd go out last in the 410. We didn't qualify the greatest, but I wasn't expecting to. I was able to stay where I started in the heat race and the B Main."</div><div><br /></div><div>Johnson qualified 21st quickest. (May 2, 2022) – For the first time in 2022, and for the first time as a full-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competitor, Lebanon, Indiana’s Spencer Bayston is a Series winner, doing so at the Last Great Colosseum – Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee – on Saturday, April 30. The $25,000 victory, the largest of Bayston’s career, was accomplished in exciting, yet fantastic fashion, as the World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year contender was forced to outduel defending NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson, in a two-lap shootout. Suffice it to say, Bayston came out on top, officially leading every lap of the Bristol Bash finale to lock down a third-career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory. </div><div><br /></div><div>Bayston secured his place in Bristol Motor Speedway victory lane with a bold move as the white flag waved, barely squeezing between Larson’s No. 57 and the outside retaining wall during a slider attempt by the defending NASCAR champion.</div><div><br /></div><div>“This has been a long time coming,” Bayston said in Bristol Motor Speedway victory lane. “We’ve been so damn fast every night. Barry Jackson is doing a phenomenal job. I feel more comfortable in this CJB #5 than I have in my whole career in any other race car. This is a testament to the equipment that Chad Clemens provides and what Barry Jackson, Scott [Vogelsong], and Brendan [Collum] do with it. Winning at Bristol Motor Speedway is something I’ll never forget.</div><div><br /></div><div>“I’ve got all the respect in the world for Kyle [Larson],” Bayston said with his Bristol Bash gladiator sword in hand. “He didn’t need to give me that little lane, but when I saw it open I was fully committed to sending it around the outside. It was quite unnerving, but we’re standing in victory lane and that’s all that matters. It’s a high-speed, high-risk moment, but we came out with a high reward.”</div><div><br /></div><div>Just one night prior in the Bristol Bash opener, Bayston, aboard the CJB Motorsports, Signing Day Sports, JRC Transportation, Nyce Crete and Landis, Ecynbro Trucking, C&S Lawn and Landscape, Kistler Engines, The Dunn Group, Highlands’ Power Sports, High Performance Lubricants, FK Rod Ends, Allstar Performance, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Walker Filtration, No. 5 sprint car, finished eighth after starting fifth, kicking off the program with a runner-up performance during heat race competition to lock into the evening’s dash. </div><div><br /></div><div>With all results considered, Bayston, the leading Rookie of the Year candidate, is now sixth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship standings, now 140-points back of defending Series champion, Brad Sweet.</div><div><br /></div><div>ON DECK:</div><div>Spencer Bayston and CJB Motorsports will continue their 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a doubleheader at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track – Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, May 6-7. Gutshall just couldn’t regain the speed he had at the beginning of last season and had to watch other drivers contend for a spot in Victory Lane week after week.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>That changed Saturday night at BAPS Motor Speedway. Not only did Gutshall finally get to start near the front, he was the class of the field in capturing the 30-Lap Larry Jackson Nationals presented by Piper Advertising and Jackson Lawn Car. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>“Not a lot of people realize what goes into these cars,” Gutshall said after the $2,569 victory. “This year, it’s pretty ridiculous price wise ... tires, motors, stuff like that. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>“This one is for my Dad. He never gives up on me, and he’s in the shop Monday through Friday. He works in a garage from 8 a.m. to 5, and then from 5 until 12, he’s in the race shop tinkering on the car, thinking, ‘What can we do to make this car faster?’</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>“Last year, we first got this Sledgecraft, and this is the fastest car we’ve ever ran. It transfers weight pretty good, and I never felt that way in a car. Midway through the season, we lost that drive, and we all put our heads together. We were trying shocks, we were trying motors, bars, and we went back to the set-up we had when we got this car, and here we are.” </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Gutshall started on the pole and beat Troy Rhome into the first corner. Rhome fell back to fourth on Lap 2, with Scott Dellinger and Jay Fannasy passing him for position. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>The Middletown, Pa., ace was setting a pretty good pace. Dellinger stayed within striking distance, but he couldn’t challenge for the position until Eric Rutz and Davey Walsh crashed on the frontstretch on Lap 9.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>On the restart, Dellinger still couldn’t make a bid. Kenny Edkin, who started eighth, made the biggest move, getting past Fannasy and Dellinger to take over the second position on the 10th circuit. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Catching Gutshall wasn’t going to be as easy. The young upstart negotiated traffic with perfection and was able to remain a little over a half-second ahead of Edkin through the final lap to score the win.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>“When I got to traffic — I don’t know, around Lap 10 — this motor was acting up and is still running a little hot, right now,” Gutshall said. “I don’t know what is wrong. I saw the temperature gauge on the last lap, and I was figuring out whether to pull in or say, ‘Screw it.,’ and run it. I stayed in it.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>“As soon as the flagman showed the blue and yellow stripe, those guys ran their line. I just knew that if I hit my marks, those guys were low enough that I could get in there and run on the cushion and keep this thing ripping.”</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Edkin finished second, with Dellinger placing third and earning his fourth top-five finish in four events. Tony Jackson, who won the previous week, stormed from 17th to fourth, and two-time winner and point leader Russ Mitten completed the top five.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>The Creekside Auto Sales 358 Late Model provided the most entertainment of the evening with three lead changes and a 20-Lap event that came down to the last lap.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Randy Stoudt came out on top, making a last-lap pass on Chase Billet to take the victory. It was his second win in two starts at the speedway this season.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Matt Murphy started on the pole and led the first lap before giving way to Billet. Any chance Murphy had of reclaiming the lead ended on Lap 4, when he rolled to a stop on the backstretch.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>As for Stoudt, he started ninth on the grid. He worked his way into the top five on Lap 1 and took over the runner-up spot four laps later. The Pottstown, Pa., driver stalked Billet before making his move on the last lap for the win.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Billet had to settle for a second-place run. Joey Hoffer, D.J. Mease, and Jared Miller completed the top five in the main event. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>The Limited Stocks closed out the program, and Matt Chronister took the lead on the sixth circuit and completed his victory run in the 15-Lap affair.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Chronister led the first three circuits from the pole, but Travis Brown got to the front in a hurry to lead two laps. Chronister regained the top spot and was able to take the victory by a slim .464 seconds at the stripe.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>A.J. Hoffner and Matt Worley completed the podium. Rob Rudisill Jr. and 13th-place starter Brandon Hoffner rounded out the top five. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>BAPS Motor Speedway</div><div><br /></div><div>York Haven, PA</div><div><br /></div><div>Saturday, April 30, 2022</div><div><br /></div><div>For Immediate Release</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>BAPS SUPER SPORTSMAN – JARRY JACKSON NATIONALS</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Feature (30 Laps): 1. 1A-Chase Gutshall[1]; 2. 75-Kenny Edkin[8]; 3. 30-Scott Dellinger[3]; 4. 88-Tony Jackson[17]; 5. 77-Russ Mitten[6]; 6. 222-Jay Fannasy[5]; 7. 7-Timmie Barrick[4]; 8. 5D-Luke Deatrick[10]; 9. 2M-Matt Ondek[7]; 10. 383-Steve Fannasy[9]; 11. 35-John Edkin[18]; 12. 6S-Shane McConnell[16]; 13. Dietrich had caught Wagaman and the two battled for third.</div><div><br /></div><div>Norris tried to take the lead again, this time with a slider in turns 1 and 2, but Givler was not giving it up. Dietrich caught Norris and got by him as they raced down the back stretch to take second on lap 10. Danny pulled the same move on Givler the following lap to take the lead at the line on lap 11.</div><div><br /></div><div>Close racing between Norris and Givler for second as they appeared to make contact at the end of the back shoot as they battled for second. </div><div><br /></div><div>Just as Dietrich got into lapped traffic on lap 13 the caution flag came out for Austin Bishop and Brandon Rahmer. Freddie Rahmer got by Billy for fifth.</div><div><br /></div><div>Borden was still ripping the top and closing in on Dietrich as they caught the tail end of the field. Lapped traffic came into play on lap 22 but before things got exciting, the yellow flag came out on lap 23 when Aaron Bollinger stopped on the front stretch.</div><div><br /></div><div>Danny got a good jump on Borden on the restart. Norris took a shot at Borden for second which allowed Rahmer to get by him for third.</div><div><br /></div><div>Troy Wagaman got by Norris to take fourth but Norris got him back by a nose at the line. With point leader Anthony Macri in Bristol competing with the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series, the win also propelled 'The Pilot' to the top spot in the Weikert's Livestock track point standings in his drive for five consecutive championships.</div><div><br /></div><div>"This car is great right now and I just have to thank everyone for getting me here," said Wagner. "These guys are getting better here and it shows. We've just got to keep getting better as a team and keep trying to click off these wins."</div><div><br /></div><div>Wolfe and Cisney led the field of 20 cars to the green flag and Wolfe briefly held the top spot exiting turn two before Cisney used a head of steam down the backstretch to lead the opening circuit. Meanwhile Wagner, who started sixth, moved into the final podium position as well in third.</div><div><br /></div><div>It was fourth-place starter Michael Walter II on the move on lap two as he moved past Wagner for third and the following lap he used the bottom of the track to move past Wolfe for the runner-up spot as well. Wagner also stayed hot on the trail as he got by Wolfe to move back into third.</div><div><br /></div><div>Cisney built up nearly a 1.5 second advantage after the completion of lap six and two laps later Wagner dispatched of Walter II for the runner-up position and set his sights on the leader. Within one lap he had already cut half a second into the deficit and by lap 15 Cisney hit the tail end of the field and was in lapped traffic.</div><div><br /></div><div>Wagner cut the deficit in half to .450 within two laps and he slid under Cisney in turn's one and two to take the lead coming to the start-finish line one lap later. However, Cisney wasn't going away without a fight and he slid under Wagner in turn's one and two to re-take the lead with 11 to go.</div><div><br /></div><div>Wagner re-took the lead in turn's one and two on the following lap to lead with 10 to go, but any momentum he was looking to gain was halted on the following circuit when seventh-place driver Justin Whittall got into the outside guardrail exiting turn two to bring out the caution with nine laps remaining. Whittall rejoined the field after a brief time in the pits for repairs.</div><div><br /></div><div>Wagner took off without contest from Cisney at the return to green-flag action, while the battle for third heated up behind them between Walter II, Wolfe and Blane Heimbach. The three drivers swapped positions a handful of times over the next five laps before Wolfe settled into the final podium position with three laps to go. Heimbach appeared ready to follow suit coming to the flagstand to get the two-to-go sign, but he and Walter II made contact exiting turn four to send Heimbach into the outside frontstretch guardrail. The incident ended Heimbach's night early and set up a two-lap dash for the checkered flag for Wagner and Cisney.</div><div><br /></div><div>Wagner took off unchallenged following the restart and went on to pick up the checkered flag with ease. Cisney, Wolfe, Mike Wagner and Walter II filled out the top five. Jeff Halligan, Gerard McIntyre Jr, Rick Lafferty, Whittall and Kody Lehman rounded out the top ten. Logan Wagner earned the $500 Valley Supply Hard Charger Award after starting sixth while 19th-place finisher Kassidy Kreitz earned the J&S Classics $1000 Warrior Award via random draw.</div><div><br /></div><div>"Dylan Cisney ran a heck of a race and so did the 33 (Mike Walter II)," said Wagner. "We're gearing up for some more racing going forward and we'll see what we have at some other places. I'm just ecstatic to be here and the results show how fast we are."</div><div><br /></div><div>For Cisney, the runner-up was a solid effort after a frustrating start to his season.</div><div><br /></div><div>"We're trying to work on things and just can't seem to get the car perfect in the slick like we have before." said Cisney. "We've had some bad luck this year and hopefully we'll be one better spot here soon. We'll keep trying and I have no doubt we'll get there soon enough."</div><div><br /></div><div>410 Sprint Car Results- 1. Logan Wagner, 2. Dylan Cisney, 3. Lucas Wolfe, 4. Mike Wagner, 5. Myers led the first seven laps of the event before fifth-place starter Tylor Emory was able to edge ahead by a nose at the line to lead lap eight. One lap later sixth-place starter Rick Eckert moved into fourth.</div><div><br /></div><div>Emory hit lapped traffic with 15 laps remaining and Eckert moved into a podium position on the same circuit. One lap later eighth-place starter Gary Stuhler moved into fourth as well. However, the field was again slowed by a caution after a two car incident in turn one with eight laps to go.</div><div><br /></div><div>Emory held his own on the restart, but Flinner was not to be denied as he inched ahead coming to the line to take the lead with seven laps to go. Stuhler was lurking in third, but his night ended one lap later when he came to a slow on the frontstretch to again bring out the caution.</div><div><br /></div><div>Eckert moved into the second spot on the restart, but he had nothing for Flinner as he went on the lead the final six circuits to claim the victory. Nick Dickson, Emory and Jared Miley rounded out the top five. Kyle Lee, Myers, Roy Deese Jr., Jason Schmidt and Mike Lupfer completed the top ten.</div><div><br /></div><div>Directly following the feature, the top ten drivers were inverted to compete in a 10-lap Australian Pursuit race to honor Glenn Stitt. As a result of his tenth-place finish, Lupfer started first with Schmidt in second.</div><div><br /></div><div>Lupfer jumped out ahead of the field and the first two drivers eliminated were Schmidt and Dickson. Myers was passed next followed by Eckert and Emory. While Lupfer pulled away form the field, tenth-place starter Flinner was putting on a show as he eliminated Miley, Lee and Deese in order.</div><div><br /></div><div>With one lap remaining, only Flinner and Lupfer remained. While Flinner attempted to catch him on the final circuit, Lupfer cruised home to victory to earn the $1000 that was awaiting the winner. Flinner earned $500 as a result followed by Deese ($400), Lee ($300) and Miley($200). Sixth through tenth all earned an additional $100 for their efforts.</div><div><br /></div><div>With his victory, combined with a bonus for starting ninth, the $200 George's Used Cars Hard Charger Award and the Pursuit cash, Flinner brought home a total of $4000 for his efforts.</div><div><br /></div><div> "This car is unbelievable, but this was enough work for me tonight with all that passing we had to do," said Flinner. "I was tired of following everyone around the bottom, but I just felt like the middle was the best place to go and it ended up working out really well.</div><div><br /></div><div>"I don't think I've ever had a streak like this, but it was pretty cool. On Friday night, Beamer parked his #85 in victory lane after a three car battle for the lead while in heavy lapped traffic in an event that almost went nonstop. Other winners of the night included: AY Schilling of Linden the Pro Stock, Jeffrey Weaver of Lock Haven in the 270 Micro Sprints, Cody Hauck of Milton in the 600 Micro Sprints and Montgomery’s Blake Snyder in the Four Cylinders. </div><div><br /></div><div>Lock Haven’s Dakota Schweikart and former 3 Time Track Champion. Daryl Stimeling of Lewistown started on the front row for the feature event. Schweikart took the early lead with Scranton’s Johnny Smith moving into second, and fifth place starter, Josh Beamer took over the third position. On lap number six Smith passed Schweikart, as the leaders began to encounter lapped traffic. </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>As the race continued, the top three weaved their way through lapped traffic at a furious pace. Smith would put two cars between him and the second place car of Schweikart and a few laps later Schweikart and Beamer would be on Smith’s back bumper. On lap number ten, Smith had his hands full, with Schweikart and Beamer followed by Stimeling and Ken Duke Jr. </div><div><br /></div><div>On lap number 20, Beamer passed Schweikart and Smith to take the lead. The top three drivers were all in contention as they continued to race through lapped traffic. On the white flap lap, the event's only caution came out for Owen Dim who spun in turn number two. The restart created a one lap dash to the checkered. Beamer protected the low side entering turns one and two forcing Smith to the top side of the speedway. Beamer barely held the lead as he and Smith raced hard into turn numbers three and four. As they exited, Smith tried one more move and spun at the exit of turn four, collecting Schweikart, as Beamer crossed the line to claim the victory. “We’ve been racing RaceSaver for three years now, and I didn’t know if this day would come, “said an excited Beamer in Victory Lane. “I knew Smith was there and I didn’t need that caution on the final lap. I knew my best shot was to protect the bottom.”</div><div><br /></div><div>Ken Duke finished second, Jarrett Cavalet was third, Garrett Bard was fourth, and Christian Rumsey completed the top five. Sixth through tenth were Tylor Cochran, Jeffrey Weaver, Daryl Stimeling, Dustin Prettyleaf and Ryan Kissinger. Heat races were won by Scott Lutz, Beamer and Smith. Eric Mathiot won the B-main.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Noah Kissinger and AY Schilling started on the front row of the Pro Stock main event. Schilling took the lead at the drop of the green flag. Corey Long moved into second place on lap number four, shuffling Kissinger back to third followed by Noah Jensen and Brandon Moser. At the race's midway point, Schilling, Long and Moser continued in the top three, as Tommy Dawson and Ray Rothfuss moved into the top five. AJ Stroup moved into fifth on lap number twelve. Two laps later Stoup took the fourth place position from Rothfuss. Schilling continued to lead every lap to claim his 58th career win at the speedway, currently second on the all-time win list. Long finished second, Moser was third, Stroup fourth and Rothfuss was fifth. Sixth through tenth were John Bouse, Kissinger, Josh Butler, Thomas Moon and Noah Jensen. Heat races were won by Jensen and Kissinger.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Corey Stabley led the first two circuits of the 270 Micro Sprint Feature. Stabley started on the outside of row number one alongside Mathew Dixon. By the completion of lap number three, firth place starter Jeffrey Weaver found his way to the front and passed Stabley for the lead. At the midpoint of the race, Weaver was being chased by Stabley, Cody Seigel, Brayden Spencer, Timmy Bittner. A lap eleven caution came out when Levi Brungard’s car stopped on the speedway. Weaver was able to hold off the challenges of Seigel, followed by Spencer, Bittner and Stabley. Sixth through tenth were Zach Glass, Michael Petock, Logan Hammaker, Devan Blose, and Tom Quiggle. Heat races were won by Sean McAndrew, Glass, and Weaver. </div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Timmy Bittner and Cody Hauck brought the field of 600 Micro Sprints to the green flag. By the completion of lap number five, Hauck led Smith, Trevor Teats, Jeffrey Weaver and Sierra Hauck. Teats took the runner up position on lap number seven. Hauck continued to lead the final laps to post his first win of the season over Teats, Weaver, Sierra Hauck and JT Ferry. On lap number 5, the red flag waved when last week’s feature winner, Hunter Flook rolled his car in turns 1 and 2. The driver was okay. Upon the restart, Snyder continued to lead with Scott Englert, Beaver, Joey Snook and Anthony Potter running in the top five. The leaders began to encounter lapped traffic on lap number ten, as Snyder raced to his first win of the year. Englert, Beaver, Snook and Potter completed the top five. Sixth through tenth were Chris Small, Donald Wynn, Adam Harris, Toby Maines and Damian Hand. Heat races were won by Andrew Rickets, Flook, and Dylan Craft. </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The Clinton County Speedway will feature the Limited Late Models, this coming Friday Night, May 6th.
